19 FEBRUARY 2025: This Ramadan, Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som invites guests to embark on a journey of renewal and self-care with the Explore One Night experience with suhour. Designed to support guests during the Holy Month, this tailored wellness stay integrates the healing philosophy of Traditional Arabic and Islamic Medicine (TAIM) to prepare the mind and body for fasting, devotion and reflection.

The Explore One Night experience offers guests a luxury wellness suhour, featuring TAIM-inspired cuisine alongside traditional Arabic dishes. Guests can choose one daily treatment from a selection that includes an Invigorating Massage, an Oriental Scalp Massage, a Signature Full Body Tadleek Massage, or a Signature Relaxing Al Qadam Foot Massage. In addition, guests have unlimited access to the resort’s hydrothermal facilities and can participate in daily wellness activities as part of the curated programme. A complimentary physical and postural assessment or VISIA facial imaging is also available upon request and subject to availability.

Each retreat programme at Zulal Wellness Resort includes luxuray accommodation, suhour served in the privacy of the room (from 21.30 until 03.00), a personal health and wellness consultation, customised treatments based on individual goals and full access to daily activities and wellness facilities, including the hydrothermal suite, sauna, steam rooms, Himalayan salt room, and swimming pools.

Available exclusively for in-house guests, the suhour menu features traditional Arabic soups, mezze style starters and hot appetizers like hummus, manakish selections, salad and soujouk. For mains guests can enjoy a wide selection of mains like Foul, Fattah, kibbeh and falafel, egg plates like shashuka, Benedict and omelets, as well as a wide range of pastries, desserts and vegan options.

At the main resort, both resort residents and visitors alike can discover Iftars inspired by the principles of TAIM with Zulal Wellness Resort’s thoughtful culinary offerings.  Iftar is served at the resort’s signature restaurant Aizoon and in the comfortable surroundings of Al Sidr from 17.30 – 21.30. Priced at 180 QAR per person, there’s a wide selection of dishes and beverages to choose from the a la carte menu, whilst a buffet will be featured on popular evenings.

Fasting has long been recognised for its spiritual and health benefits, allowing the body to detoxify and reset. However, changes to eating habits, sleeping patterns and daily routines can impact overall wellbeing.
